CMH
Services of St. Joseph
County began providing
services as an established single Mental Health Board in 1967. In 2002,
we joined with Allegan County Community Mental Health, Kalamazoo Community Mental Health Services,
and Woodlands (Cass) Behavioral Healthcare Network to form a regional
affiliation.

St. Joseph County
is a rural county located in the southern portion of the lower peninsula of Michigan. The
current population of the county is approximately 62,984. The two major
cities in St. Joseph County are Three Rivers
and Sturgis. St. Joseph
County has received
partial designation as a health shortage and medically underserved area.
