PSYCHIATRIST: Board certified with substantial experience with both child and adult mentally ill populations. Perform psychiatric evaluations. Prescribe/monitor medications where indicated, and order and review findings of laboratory tests as needed. Certify admission of clients for specific treatment services; review and approve treatment plans and treatment reviews; certify termination or discharge from treatment. Provide consultation to social work and psychology functions as needed and required by the standards of professional, regulatory and funding bodies. Maintain linkages with hospitals and community based programs to assure continuity of care. Competitive salary and full benefit package.EOE
SUBSTANCE ABUSE PREVENTION SPECIALIST: to oversee and provide substance abuse prevention activities for St. Joseph County; experience in community collaboration; building and implementing prevention programming preferred. Minimum BA/BS in human services field. Must be a certified prevention specialist or eligible for a professional development plan for certification.
