PSYCHIATRIST - PT

Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services of St. Joseph County is seeking a part time Psychiatrist who has experience working with children and adults of diverse backgrounds.  The successful candidate will perform outpatient psychiatric assessments, diagnosis, and treatment to mentally ill populations.  Responsible for conducting emergency mental health evaluations to assess individuals immediate needs to assure their safety.  Prepares treatment plans, coordinates, and communicates clinical decision making with input from individuals served and other providers to ensure care is provided in a recovery oriented fashion.  This position requires M.D, or D.O. degree and board certified as well as 2 years clinical experience.  Required licenses include valid DEA, Michigan Medical License, and current Board Certification. As St. Joseph County is considered an underserved rural area, tuition forgiveness is available through Bureau Health Workforce. We are located near the Indiana border, nestled in the quiet setting of St. Joseph County. Conveniently located to major cities of Kalamazoo, Battle Creek and South Bend. Childrens Skill Instructor PART TIME POSITION

Children’s Skills Instructor to provide individual and group skills building instruction and services to children who are mentally ill or SED in a Clubhouse setting. Candidates for this position should be diversity minded with HS Diploma or GED; good driving record required; bi-lingual preferred. EOE. Hourly rate.
