Access Clinician (Substance Abuse)

Community Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services of St. Joseph County is seeking an Intake/Access Clinician with concentration in Substance Abuse Services.  The access clinician is responsible for ensuring that service requests from prospective clients and other stakeholders are assessed, with resultant disposition, within required time frames while reducing the complexities and confusion of the intake and eligibility process.  The clinician also helps to ensure the proper level of care in emergent and routine cases. This position also ensures coordination between inpatient and outpatient services, and provides assistance to clients with short-term management needs.  Services may be provided on a routine, urgent or emergent basis, with short term crisis stabilization services provided as needed.

This full-time position requires a Master’s degree and CAADC or Development plan along with 1 to 2 years of job related experience.

Adult Outpatient Therapist
